National Association of Women Business Owners
With chapters across the country, this organization is dedicated to helping women succeed in business by providing mentors, networking opportunities and educational events.
SCORE
Education and mentorship are key principles for this nonprofit association committed to helping small business owners. Webinars and articles are available through the association’s website, and local chapters provide opportunities for workshops and mentorship.
Women 2.0
Women embarking on technology startups can attend meetup events across the country to network with like-minded entrepreneurs, and monthly Google Hangouts, live web broadcasts and an annual startup competition provide additional resources and guidance.
U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce
A national advocacy group identifying itself as the nation’s leading independent certifier of women-owned firms. Members have access to retirement planning resources and information on business management and government contracting.
Women’s Business Development Center
This nonprofit organization provides assistance to female entrepreneurs through business development courses, financing opportunities and mentoring programs. Events and conferences provide additional opportunities for education and networking.
