Eligibility and Rules
Must be a natural person 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States or District of Columbia to qualify to win the Kansas City Starlight Ticket Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). Sweepstakes begins at 8:00 AM CDT Wednesday, August 10, 2022 and ends at 4:00 PM CDT Wednesday, August 24, 2022 (“Promotion Period”). Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible or incomplete. Mechanically reproduced entries are void. Only one entry per person, per Instagram, Facebook and Twitter post related to the promotion, during the Promotion Period. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Capitol Federal Savings Bank, its parent company, and any of its affiliates and anyone residing in such a person’s household are not eligible to win the prize. All entries become the property of Capitol Federal® and will not be returned. Capitol Federal reserves the right to use any and all winners’ names in Capitol Federal newsletters, web sites, social media platforms and all other official company publications and media, with regards to the Kansas City Starlight Ticket Sweepstakes. Capitol Federal has the exclusive power to interpret these rules, and its decisions regarding rules interpretations are final and binding on all participants. Individuals are only eligible to win one set of tickets for the 2022 CapFed® Starlight Concert series. Persons who have won previously for the 2022 concert series are not eligible to win additional tickets.
How to Enter
Entry for this Sweepstakes is only offered through Capitol Federal’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Each platform will have 1 post for which participants are eligible to comment. Participants may comment on each platform for a total of three (3) entries. To enter, you must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period: (i) follow Capitol Federal @CapitolFederal on Instagram, @CapFed on Twitter, or ‘Like’ the Capitol Federal Facebook page; and (ii) provide a comment to the Sweepstakes’ post on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook stating your favorite Starlight memory. Limit one (1) entry per person, per Instagram account, Facebook account and per Twitter account, for a maximum of three (3) total entries per participant. All entries become the property of Capitol Federal and will not be returned to the entrant. All entries (comments) must be made by 4:00 PM CDT on August 24, 2022 on the eligible post. Capitol Federal is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Information collected from the entrants is subject to Capitol Federal’s privacy policy.
Limitations of Liability
The Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions. The Bank assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Bank is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the sweepstakes. The Bank is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in connection with the sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Bank which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Participants in this sweepstakes, including any potential winners and the finally selected winners, shall indemnify and hold Capitol Federal Savings Bank and its employees, officers, directors, parent, and affiliates harmless from all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, and costs, including reasonable outside attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising out of or related to such persons’ acts or omissions made in connection with this sweepstakes or the use of a prize.
Prize
Each winner will receive 2 reserved tickets for the Monday August 29, 2022 Jack White concert at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, plus 1 parking pass. There will be four (4) winners selected to win the 2 reserved seats and parking pass. Total value of each prize = $570.00.
Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received per post. Employees, officers, and directors of Capitol Federal Savings Bank, its parent company, and any of its affiliates and anyone residing in such a person’s household are not eligible to win the prize. No purchase necessary; need not be present to win. Capitol Federal reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the listed prize is not available.
Winner Selection
The winner will be determined on or about the next business day following August 24, 2022 by a random drawing from all eligible entries received from Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The Sweepstakes will be comprised of 1 separate post on 3 Capitol Federal social media pages (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) throughout the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted by Capitol Federal staff. The winner will be contacted by Instagram Direct Message, Facebook Messenger or Twitter Direct Message via the Instagram, Facebook or Twitter account used for Sweepstakes entry. Winners must respond to Capitol Federal within two (2) days of notification, and take possession of their prize by August 29, 2022 or the winner’s prize is forfeited. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, entry will be declared made by the Authorized Account Holder of the applicable Instagram, Facebook or Twitter account. As used herein, “Authorized Account Holder” means the natural person who is assigned to that Instagram, Facebook or Twitter account by Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. No entity, partnership, or other type of non-natural person may be designated as an Authorized Account Holder. Any taxes or additional expenses associated with the awarded prizes will be the responsibility of the winners.
