Eligibility and Rules
Must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States or District of Columbia to qualify to win a Visa Gift Card. Sweepstakes begins at 9:00am CDT Tuesday, April 18, 2022 and ends at 8:59 AM CDT Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible or incomplete. Mechanically reproduced entries are void. Only one entry per person. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Capitol Federal Savings Bank, its parent company, and any of its affiliates and anyone residing in such a person’s household are not eligible to win the Customer Appreciation Day Visa Giveaway. All entries become the property of Capitol Federal® and will not be returned. Capitol Federal reserves the right to use any and all winners’ names in Capitol Federal newsletters, web sites, social media platforms and all other official company publications and media, with regards to the Customer Appreciation Day Visa Giveaway. Capitol Federal has the exclusive power to interpret these rules, and its decisions regarding rules interpretations are final and binding on all participants.
How to Enter
Only one entry per person. Like, comment and follow on a Capitol Federal’s Customer Appreciation Day Giveaway post on Facebook or Instagram. All entries must be completed by 8:59 am CDT on April 25, 2023 to be eligible. Capitol Federal is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.
Information collected from the entrants is subject to Capitol Federal’s privacy policy.
Limitations of Liability
The Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions. The Bank assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Bank is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the sweepstakes. The Bank is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in connection with the sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Bank which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Participants in this sweepstakes, including any potential winners and the finally selected winners, shall indemnify and hold Capitol Federal Savings Bank and its employees, officers, directors, parent, and affiliates harmless from all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, and costs, including reasonable outside attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising out of or related to such persons’ acts or omissions made in connection with this sweepstakes or the use of a prize.
Meta
Participants (a) fully release and hold Meta harmless from liability and (b) acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta. All data collected is from Capitol Federal and not Meta.
Prize
Five (5) VISA gift cards valued at $100.00. One (1) VISA gift card per person. A drawing will be held by Capitol Federal staff on April 25, 2023 from all eligible entries. Five (5) winners will be drawn. Winner will be announced on April 28, 2023. Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received. No purchase necessary; need not be present to win. Capitol Federal reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the listed prize is not available.
Winner Selection
Five (5) winners will be selected by a Capitol Federal employee in a random drawing at Capitol Federal from all eligible entries on April 25, 2023 and each winner will receive one (1) VISA gift card valued at $100.00. Winner will be announced April 28, 2023. Winner will be contacted by phone or notified by email, and winners must respond to Capitol Federal within one (1) week, and take possession of their prize by May 5, 2023, or the winner’s prize is forfeited and a new name is drawn. Any taxes or additional expenses associated with the awarded prizes will be the responsibility of the winners.
