CAPITOL FEDERAL® TO CELEBRATE TITLE SPONSORSHIP OF SPIRIT OF KANSAS

 

TOPEKA, Kan. – The Shawnee County Board of Commissioners recognized Capitol Federal® as the “Title Sponsor” of the 2022 Spirit of Kansas during a check presentation ceremony at the May 26, 2022 Board of Commission meeting. 

 

In 2002, the event was in jeopardy because of lack of funds.  CapFed® proudly helped ensure this long time tradition continued and has remained the Title Sponsor since that date.

 

The Spirit of Kansas is an annual fireworks display that celebrates our nation’s independence.  It will again be held on July 4 at Lake Shawnee.
