Kent G. Townsend joined Capitol Federal® in 1984 and was appointed Executive Vice President-Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in 2005. He is dedicated to the Bank and its financial stability. He played a pivotal role in guiding Capitol Federal through its IPO in 1999 and then its second-step conversion to a fully public company in 2010.
