Eligibility and Rules
Must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States or District of Columbia to qualify to win Blue Bucks Explorers prize package. Sweepstakes begins at 9:00am CDT Monday, April 1, 2024 and ends at 4:00 pm CDT Friday, June 28, 2024. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible or incomplete. Mechanically reproduced entries are void. Only one entry per person. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Capitol Federal Savings Bank, its parent company, and any of its affiliates and anyone residing in such a person’s household are not eligible to win the Blue Bucks Explorers prize package. All entries become the property of Capitol Federal® and will not be returned. Capitol Federal reserves the right to use any and all winners’ names in Capitol Federal newsletters, web sites, social media platforms and all other official company publications and media, with regards to the Blue Bucks Explorers sweepstakes. Capitol Federal has the exclusive power to interpret these rules, and its decisions regarding rules interpretations are final and binding on all participants.
How to Enter
Only one entry per person. Every Blue Bucks® Savings account holder is automatically entered for one chance to win. Other individuals meeting the eligibility requirements may enter online for one chance to win at capfed.com/BBPrizeEntry by filling out an official entry form. All entries become the property of Capitol Federal and will not be returned to the entrant. All entries must be filled out by 4:00 pm CDT on June 28, 2024 to be eligible. Capitol Federal is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.
Information collected from the entrants is subject to Capitol Federal’s Consumer Privacy Policy.
Limitations of Liability
The Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions. The Bank assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Bank is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the sweepstakes. The Bank is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in connection with the sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Bank which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. Participants in this sweepstakes, including any potential winners and the finally selected winners, shall indemnify and hold Capitol Federal Savings Bank and its employees, officers, directors, parent, and affiliates harmless from all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, and costs, including reasonable outside attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising out of or related to such persons’ acts or omissions made in connection with this sweepstakes or the use of a prize.
Prize
The Blue Bucks Explorers sweepstakes prize package has an approximate value of $196.00. It will include one (1) Celestron – SkyMaster 12x60 Binocular (approx. value $95), one (1) Explorer’s Notebook, travel journal (approx. value $20), one (1) Yeti Jr. 12 Oz Kids Water Bottle (approx. value $25), one (1) Kid’s Safari Hat (approx. value $20) and one (1) Wild Republic Camel Stuffed Animal (approx. value $36). A drawing will be held by Capitol Federal staff at the end of the business day on June 28, 2024 from all eligible entries. One (1) winner will be drawn. Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received. Employees, officers, and directors of Capitol Federal Savings Bank, its parent company, and any of its affiliates and anyone residing in such a person’s household are not eligible to win the Blue Bucks Explorers sweepstakes prize package. No purchase necessary; need not be present to win. Capitol Federal reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the listed prize is not available.
Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected by a Capitol Federal employee in a random drawing at Capitol Federal from all eligible entries on June 28, 2024 and will receive one (1) Blue Bucks Explorers sweepstakes prize package. Winner will be contacted by phone or notified by email, and winners must respond to Capitol Federal within one (1) week, and take possession of their prize by July 5, 2024, or the winner’s prize is forfeited and a new name is drawn. Any taxes or additional expenses associated with the awarded prizes will be the responsibility of the winners.
