We focused on the importance of keeping our customers, and our employees, safe and healthy. By temporarily closing branch lobbies and utilizing drive-thru lanes and mobile banking to conduct business, CapFed® moved to a contactless, but still customer service focused, banking experience. Now, as our branch lobbies have reopened, we remain committed to keeping safety a top priority. We will continue to be mindful of local and CDC guidelines to ensure social distancing continues. We installed protective barriers in our teller windows and customer service desks to keep you protected while conducting your banking business. While our lobbies may look a little different, rest assured our True Blue service, for which we are known, will always be part of banking at Capitol Federal.
We recognize the burden and hardship COVID-19 has placed on some of our customers. We have worked with homeowners, businesses and individuals alike to help alleviate some financial burdens the pandemic has caused. I’m proud we’ve held true to our corporate philosophy, doing what is right to support our community during this time of crisis.
Finally, I’d like to say thank you to all of our True Blue customers for your patience and trust in Capitol Federal. We appreciate you immeasurably. I also want to extend my gratitude to our CapFed employees who work on the frontline every day, along with healthcare professionals, our first responders and all essential employees, and their families for being there and being brave. By adjusting, protecting and persevering together, we will get through this and come out stronger.
