CAPITOL FEDERAL® CELEBRATES GROUNDBREAKING OF

NEW WYANDOTTE COUNTY CAPFED® BRANCH

TOPEKA, Kan. – Capitol Federal^® celebrated the beginning of construction for its newest full-service branch in Wyandotte County.  A groundbreaking ceremony, and bare bones tour, was held November 2 for the new CapFed^® Branch, located at 6900 State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.  In attendance was Kansas City, Kansas Mayor Tyrone Garner, District 8 Commissioner Andrew Davis, KCK Chamber CEO & President Daniel Silva and Capitol Federal CEO John B. Dicus, along with CapFed staff and guests.

 

CEO John B. Dicus stated, “Capitol Federal is a True Blue^® friend to Kansas City, Kansas, and has been serving our great customers and businesses of Wyandotte County for more than 20 years.  The new 6900 State Avenue branch will complement our branch already inside the Price Chopper at 7600 State Avenue.  CapFed is dedicated to our customers and communities, and we are eagerly awaiting the opportunity for our friendly branch staff to serve you this upcoming summer.” 

 

The full-service, 2,600 square-foot branch will feature three teller stations, two drive-up lanes and a 24-hour drive-up ATM.  It will offer our full array of retail, lending, commercial, trust, business banking and insurance services including:
