After all, it’s truly the thought that counts.

Skip the Check - Cooking your own gourmet meal is always an option, rather than eating out on Valentine’s Day. Your grocery bill will most likely be less than a dinner for two and last more than one meal. An extra benefit is spending time with your loved one while you prepare the meal. You’ll make lasting memories and it’s a fantastic way to bond.

Plant a Seed - Flower bouquets are beautiful, but their shelf life is short. Skip the markup on a dozen red roses and give the gift of a living, growing plant. The price may be comparable to a bouquet, but you’re getting more bang for your buck because of the longevity. Another idea, decorate a pot and plant some seeds together.
