On June 8, 1968, Capitol Federal proudly opened its fourth branch in the greater Kansas City area, driven by strong community support that encouraged its construction. Dick Stone was appointed as the first manager of the branch. In 1978, to better serve its growing customer base, the branch expanded its drive-up lanes to three. A significant remodel in 2015 introduced a more energy-efficient, customer-focused design, ensuring the branch continues to meet the needs of the community for years to come.
