Presidents' Day kicked off a week-long grand opening celebration at the new Andover Marketplace location, the eighth Capitol Federal® branch to open in the greater Wichita area. With radio remotes held in-between, the Andover team opened 52 Presidents' Day CD accounts, totaling $956,000. Throughout the week, customers said how happy they were to have the Bank in Andover. With a Mardi Gras theme, the ribbon cutting ceremony included Capitol Federal® Foundation gifts to two important Andover initiatives: Andover Advantage for teacher grants and the Andover Police Department toward the purchase of a second police dog.
