Mitch Schurig

My experience as a college football player and coach provided opportunities both on and off the field for me to integrate my organizational, planning and leadership skills. I learned very early the pride and satisfaction of working diligently on a plan and seeing that plan come into action. The discipline and dedication I learned on the football field transfers directly to my work as your insurance partner, committed to crafting personalized plans to secure the best insurance solutions for you and your family.

Outside of Capitol Agency, you might find me on the golf course or spending time with my wife and daughter, the two most important people in my life. My collegiate work with Washburn Student Athletes taught me the immense satisfaction of volunteering and putting others needs before my own. I’m very proud of my work with Topeka Public Schools and the initiative I led at Washburn to have a greater presence at schools through volunteer efforts to make an impact on at risk youth.
