Lynsee James - Insurance Agency Manager

I bring 18 years of experience in the insurance industry and truly enjoy helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. With a strong background in insurance agency operations and leadership, I believe great insurance services go beyond policies, it’s about listening closely, providing clear and honest guidance, and delivering dependable, responsive service when clients need it most.

Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life, and Health insurance, I lead our agency with a focus on building long-term relationships, transparent communication, and personalized insurance solutions. My goal is to make insurance coverage easy to understand and flexible enough to grow and change as my clients’ lives, families, and businesses evolve. As a trusted insurance advisor, I’m committed to helping clients feel confident in their coverage decisions and supported every step of the way.

Growing up in rural Southeast Kansas taught me early on that it truly takes a village. That experience shaped my deep commitment to community involvement and giving back to the place I’m proud to call home. I’m honored to be involved with the Capitol Federal® Volunteer Committee and to serve each year as a regional coordinator providing Thanksgiving meals to El Centro and Mattie Rhodes.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the garden with my husband and our two sons, creating new recipes, and sharing homegrown meals with friends and family. We love enjoying the food we’ve canned and preserved throughout the year. I’m also a big animal lover and can often be found exploring local parks and hiking trails with our two dogs, or at home caring for our pet axolotl.
