Amanda Lutz - Senior Account Executive

As the Senior Account Executive for Capitol Federal Insurance™, I bring 19 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in sales, customer service, and agency management. I work closely with our most tenured customers to develop and maintain strong relationships and provide exceptional service at every touchpoint.

Understanding client needs through thorough due diligence is the foundation of successful insurance relationships. I take pride in helping to equip our agents with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to deliver personalized insurance solutions and ensure clients have the coverage they need to protect what matters most. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is educating customers about their insurance coverage so they can make confident, informed decisions.

I hold both the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and AIS™ (Associate in Insurance Services) designations, reflecting my commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes. I am a proud graduate of the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and have lived in Lawrence, Kansas since college, having never lived outside the state.

I am actively involved in the community through organizations such as Women in Insurance and Financial Services and the Ladies Executive Golf Society. I recently joined Driving Pursuits, where I get to pair two of my favorite activities, enhancing my golf skills to become a more confident golfer and getting to network with other female executives.

Outside of work, I love baking (especially cookies and bread), cheering on KU, and spending time with my fifth English bulldog, clearly a lifelong passion.
