Stephanie Makalous, CTP - Director of Treasury Management

With over 25 years of experience in treasury management and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, I bring this expertise along with a people-first approach to my role as Director of Treasury Management at Capitol Federal®. I’m passionate about building strong relationships and helping clients find treasury solutions that align with their goals, operations and long-term success.

I work closely with business owners, financial leaders and their teams to understand what matters most to them and to deliver practical, dependable treasury management support. I value collaboration, thoughtful problem-solving and helping others discover the tools and strategies that best support their organization.

In addition to my work at CapFed®, I’m deeply committed to serving my community. I currently serve as President of the USD #232 Board of Education and am a member of the USD #232 Education Foundation. I enjoy helping people find what they’re passionate about—professionally and personally.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my teenage daughters, bike riding, watching movies, and being outdoors.
