Billy Skrobacz Jr. joined Capitol Federal® in July 2021 as Chief Strategy Officer after earning his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. As Chief Strategy Officer, he helped drive operational efficiencies, support business growth, advance lending and business development initiatives, and strengthen the Bank's regulatory and compliance framework. In 2023, Billy was named Chief Retail Operations Officer, overseeing the Bank's retail operations and customer experience initiatives. In October 2026, he was appointed as President.

Billy is a leader in the Topeka community, serving on the Stormont Vail Health Foundation Board of Trustees and its Finance Committee, the board of Downtown Topeka, Inc. and its Executive Committee, and the Kansas Banker’s Associations (KBA) Management Committee. Billy is also an active member of the 20/30 Club of Topeka, supporting children’s charity initiatives in Shawnee County.
