TOPEKA, KS – The Capitol Federal Foundation® presented a $10,000 donation to Special Olympics Kansas in a check presentation ceremony today at the Capitol Federal® Home Office branch in downtown Topeka.
This donation put the Foundation at $100 million in total giving since inception in 1999. In honor of the $100 million milestone, several representatives who received grants from the Foundation over the years spoke during the ceremony about the impact of the Foundation’s giving. Representatives from Special Olympics Kansas, the University of Kansas School of Business and Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka spoke during the ceremony.

Dicus, Chairman of Trustees at the Capitol Federal Foundation. John Lair, President and CEO of Special Olympics Kansas, spoke about the impact of the Foundation’s giving to Special Olympics Kansas. Since 2002, the Capitol Federal Foundation has given over $100,000 to Special Olympics Kansas.
