In the summer of 1983, Capitol Federal® expanded its reach in Wichita through the merger with Southwest Federal Savings of Wichita, adding two new office locations to its portfolio. One of these was nestled in the heart of downtown at 130 North Market, while the other found its home at 4020 West Maple.
The downtown office experienced a journey of its own, relocating three times over the years: first moving in 1988 to Centre City Plaza at 151 North Main, then in 1992 to the Epic Center at 301 N. Main, and finally, in 1998, to its current location at Bradley Fair.
