Manhattan's growth and increase in Kansas State University students led Capitol Federal® to open a full-service branch at the southwest corner of Seth Child Road and Southwinds Drive. The new branch offered Manhattan customers the choice of two locations for conducting business. During its November 2004 grand opening, the chamber President congratulated the bank on a "first class development" and expressed his faith and belief in the growth of Manhattan.
