With over $200 million in assets, Capitol Federal® opened its second branch in Kansas City at 95th and Nall in December 1962. In late 1968, celebrating its 75th anniversary, Capitol Federal unveiled its newly constructed five-story building - highlighted with blue mosaic tiles imported from Italy - introducing it as Capitol Federal's new Johnson County Headquarters.
