Memories are the special moments that tell your story. At Capitol Federal®, we've been helping our customers enjoy special moments for more than 120 years. Through traditional home loans, savings and checking accounts, to modern online banking, such as True Blue Online® and Apple Pay®, CapFed® honors our commitment to strength, stability and security. These traditions have created the True Blue® moments we cherish today, and will help shape tomorrow's memories. There have been several recent occasions celebrated by CapFed employees, occasions that reflect our commitment to being True Blue. We are delighted and thankful we could celebrate these events with you.

The remodeling of our Santa Fe branch in Kansas City and the 40th anniversary celebration of our Salina branch marked important milestones for CapFed. Both occasions emphasized our commitment to banking that's built for the future, while honoring our past and our history. Each was a success because of your involvement and participation. Lasting memories were created at these celebrations for both our CapFed employees and our True Blue customers.

In a proud moment, Capitol Federal was recently recognized as a 2016 Best in Business recipient by the Wichita Business Journal. Based on our financial performance, innovation and community service, CapFed was one of five Wichita-area companies selected for this honor. We will display the Best in Business plaque and the trophy will travel among the eight greater Wichita branches so our employees and customers can enjoy our accomplishment. I'm proud of our entire staff for their hard work in achieving this distinction and I'd also like to thank you, our customers, for your trust and belief in us.

This summer, we proudly invite you to participate in more upcoming CapFed events. Friday Favorites will return this July with neighborhood goodies for you to enjoy, as we thank you for being our customers. Also, Capitol Federal Hall will open on the University of Kansas campus, teaching a new generation of business students. I encourage you to check out more happenings on our community calendar on capfed.com. It's a great tool for you to use and create new memorable moments this summer.
