Golf is not just a game, but a way of life at First Tee - Greater Topeka. Through this one of a kind mentorship program, Executive Director Marcus Miller and his team use golf to teach youth valuable life lessons in respect, self confidence, and perseverance!
Shadow Buddies Foundation
When a child is facing down a life-altering medical condition, they can take comfort in knowing there is a friend just like them close by. The Shadow Buddies Foundation, started by Marty Postlethwait, provides emotional support and education to children and families facing the uncertainties of a new diagnosis and treatments. The cuddly, plush buddies are friends that accompany patients throughout their healthcare journey.

The Multicultural Business Scholars Program
CapFed®️ is recognizing Diversity Month with a community spotlight featuring the Multicultural Business Scholars Program (MBSP) at The University of Kansas School of Business! Led by Steven Johnson Jr, Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, the MBSP provides academic, scholarship, and career resources to underrepresented student groups on campus. Now in their 30th year, the program remains committed to creating equitable opportunities where all students can achieve their academic and professional goals.
The Capitol Federal Foundation®️ proudly gives each year to fund scholarships available through the MBSP.
The Black MasterMind Group Charitable Foundation
Dr. Donetta Watson, founder of The Black MasterMind Group Charitable Group, has created a national ecosystem designed to address the disparities surrounding the black entrepreneurial community, in an effort to teach them strategies to Start, Stabilize, Sustain, and Scale their businesses. Through this mentorship, the group's ultimate goal is for their student's to secure the capital needed to grow and thrive as entrepreneurs.
