If you are ready to begin your internship experience with Capitol Federal, applications are accepted for Summer, Spring, and Fall internships during the application period.

Capitol Federal offers internships three times a year:

Summer Internship (Late May – Early August): Application period is January – March*.
Fall Internship (Early August – Early December): Application period is March – June*.
Spring Internship (Early January – Early May): Application period is September – November*.

The majority of internships are offered during the Summer. All applications must be submitted online for the internship experience you are interested in.

*Application deadline may close early if the opportunity has been filled.

what to expect after you apply.

Interview with HR: If your application is selected, you may be asked to participate in a video interview, which will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Interview with Department: If selected following your HR interview, you’ll be invited for an in-person interview with the hiring team. This interview is conducted by the department and you can expect to meet a variety of people that you could possibly work with.
