We believe there's more to owning a home than securing a loan. That's why we support homebuyer education programs for our loan customers.  Home-At-Last borrowers are required to participate in these very helpful home ownership and personal finance counseling programs. The programs are offered by recognized community organizations or in a counseling session arranged by Capitol Federal®.

Homebuyers Seminar

The Johnson County Community College (JCCC) presents home buyer education programs to those buying a home for the first time. This is a low-cost Community Homebuyers Seminar.

Homebuyer Workshop and Credit Repair Clinic

Housing and Credit Counseling Inc. of Topeka offers a free Homebuyer 101 Workshop and a free Credit Repair Clinic, providing information to help the first-time homebuyer.

Capitol Federal is a sponsor of the Homebuyer 101 Workshop and the Credit Repair Clinic. The workshop and clinic meet all requirements for Capitol Federal's Home-At-Last program, FNMA, FHLMC and other state and local special programs.
