From day one it was very welcoming and hey, what are your strengths? What do you like to do? So that way we can also work with those strengths. My manager, she always says learn and grow. And I've never ever felt like I couldn't learn something new or grow in a different way. My name is Cody Bell. I have been with Capitol FederalĀ® for about four years now. And I am a CSA two or teller over at the Manhattan branch. At the bank, I am one of the first faces you see. I normally work our drive through, so I'm handling a lot of cash. I'm the face of people's finances when they come in. The company culture, it's all built on trust and integrity, but to have trust you have to communicate. Just building those relationships is one of the major things that I've learned is part of our culture. Everybody that I've ever gotten on a phone call with or met with in person is just always such a positive experience. As time had gone on and gotten more comfortable with Capitol Federal, I started to kind of look around and see a little bit more of what else we all offer. And one of the things that I was very interested in was our wellness committee. And their mission statement is part of providing opportunities and education for not only Capitol Federal employees but also their families. Being well not only here at work as a whole but then also at home and so I led the committee on revamping and revitalizing our wellness committee. So the fun parts about my job is that because I am actively working with customers that you get to hear people's stories as they come and go. You kind of want to know and be involved with your community, not just with your customers, but also the surrounding community. Whatever their story is, do get to learn a lot about people that is beyond, okay, yeah, here's your twenty bucks.
