I mean the name itself, honestly, Capitol FederalĀ®, that's a wonderful name in the community. Know, when I'm out there doing what I need to do in the community to encourage people to come through our door, it's a lot easier when you have a name that is trusted. My name is Lloyd Rainge. I'm the Community Development Director for Capitol Federal and I started in nineteen ninety seven, which is about twenty seven, twenty eight years ago. I actually started Capitol Federal right out of high school. I was an intern with a program called INROs Kansas City. It's an organization that basically trains minorities for business and leadership. Companies chose us and we got to choose which internship we wanted to pursue and I chose Capitol Federal. And so during that internship, I was exposed to a number of different departments in the bank. And then after that, came back, started working full time in the lending department, became a mortgage loan consultant. About three years, three or four years in, jumped into the construction permanent department as a loan originator closer. And then from there, got into community development back in two thousand and nine. I think the culture here, and I'm speaking for the management team here, they're always encouraging, wanting individuals to grow. That's one of the things that you know management is charged with is finding efficiencies for each department and also encouraging growth in our employees. This institution has been a very safe, sound and secure company that, you know, I have no problem getting behind in terms of what I'm promoting to families individuals. Capitol Federal has that history of security. Having that comfort knowing that the leadership is sound and they truly believe in doing the right thing. If I can trust that the company does the right thing that I'm working for, then, you know, that's all I need.
