Begin by visiting the Capitol Federal High Yield eSavings page. When you're ready, select Open Online to start your application.

You'll be directed to our secure online account opening experience.

Select Add accounts if you are an existing customer. If you are a new customer, select Let's get started.

Open the disclosure to review, and then check the box to confirm.

Select Next.

Enter your mobile phone number and the last four digits of your social security number. Select Continue to move to the next step. You will be prompted to verify your phone number.

On your phone, open the message from CapFed and click the link to verify your number.

Enter your personal information. This includes your name, date of birth, social security number, address, phone number and email address. Select your preferred contact method.

Then review your information carefully before moving to the next step. If you are a current customer, you will be routed back to the beginning to select Add accounts.

When you're ready, select Next.

From here, you will want to select the e savings account by checking the box next to the account name.

If you would like to order a Pass Card to use at CapFed ATMs, select Pass Card.

Be sure eStatements is selected for the eSavings account. A minimum balance to earn the stated APY is $10,000 and the account must be enrolled in eStatements. Select Next.

Input identification information, employment information and other information.

Be sure to include the source of deposits into the account.

These are necessary questions for bank regulations. Once complete, click Next.

Before submitting your application, review all information carefully. If any details need to be updated, you can make changes before continuing.

This is also where you are able to add a joint owner or beneficiary to your new account. When everything looks correct, select 'Next'.

Review all required disclosures and accept them by selecting the checkbox.

Then review the arbitration agreement and select the checkbox.

Lastly, review the Tax ID verification questions.

Once all sections are complete, select Accept to continue the process.

To begin identity verification, select Initiate.

A window will open. Select Start verification.

Review the terms and conditions, then select Accept.

Choose how you would like to receive the verification link on your smartphone.

On your phone, start by selecting your ID type.

You will need to take a photo of your ID and a photo of your face to complete the process.

Now it's time to make your opening deposit. Enter the funding amount for your new e savings account.

Then select next.

Enter the information for the account or card you'd like to use to fund your new account.

Follow the prompts to complete the funding process.

Once complete, finish the process by selecting Submit Application.

Congratulations! Your application has been submitted. You'll receive confirmation and additional information regarding your new account. Be sure to save or print your confirmation for your records.

Your eSavings account is designed to be managed through TrueBlue online banking. Once your account is established, you can view balances, transfer money, and manage your account anytime online or through the CapFed mobile app.
