Eligibility and Rules
Must be 18 years of age or older to qualify to win. Sweepstakes begins Friday, February 10, 2023 at 12:00 pm CST and ends at 5:00 pm CST on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Limit one entry per eligible person. Employees of Capitol Federal®, their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win the prize. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible or incomplete. Open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Need not be present to win. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.
How to Enter
Enter in person at the Topeka Home Builders Association Home Show at the Stormont Vail Event Center and fill out an official entry form, either electronic through an iPad provided or paper registration. Only one entry per person will be eligible. All entries become the property of Capitol Federal and will not be returned to the entrant. All entries must be filled out by 5:00 pm CST on Sunday, February 12, 2023, to be eligible. Capitol Federal is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.
Information collected from the entrants is subject to Capitol Federal’s consumer privacy policy.
Limitations of Liability
The Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions. The Bank assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Bank is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the sweepstakes. The Bank is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in connection with the sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Bank, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes.
Prizes
One winner will receive a KitchenAid 6 Qt. Professional 600 series Stand Mixer and a $200 Visa® Gift Card (approximate value $750). One winner will receive a EGO Power 15-inch 56 Volt cordless Powerload String Trimmer, a EGO Power 650 CFM Variable Speed 56 Volt Cordless Leaf Blower and a $200 Visa® Gift Card (approximate value $670). One winner will receive a 65” Sony 4K Ultra HD TV and a $200 Visa® Gift Card (approximate value $670).
Prize cannot be redeemed for cash, substituted or transferred. sweepstakes void where prohibited, licensed, restricted or taxed. If any provision of this sweepstakes shall be deemed to violate any federal, state or municipal law, it shall be amended to conform to such law and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected by a random drawing following the show from all eligible entries, on Monday, February 13, 2023. Winners will be notified by phone or email on Monday, February 13, 2023. Winners must respond to Capitol Federal within two (2) weeks, and take possession of their prize by February 27, 2023, or the prize is forfeited and a new name will be drawn. Capitol Federal cannot be held responsible for any form of liability in association with prize redemption or any activity related thereto. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries. Any taxes or additional expenses associated with the awarded prize will be the responsibility of the winners. Winner will be required to complete a 1099-Form for tax-reporting purposes.
