I began my Capitol Federal career in February 1991 within the retail operations. It was in 1998, I accepted the position of assistant lending manager at the Bank's Wichita Bradley Fair office. From 2001-2004, I served as manager of the Central & Maize office, at which time I also originated mortgage loans. Upon accepting the Senior Mortgage Consultant position in 2004, I realized that my Capitol Federal career was providing me the opportunity of developing a unique understanding of both the retail and lending needs of my customers and how they can work together to meet their financial goals.

This commitment is a part of its corporate principles, and management promotes involvement in community and housing relations and activities. Through Capitol Federal Foundation, the Bank is able to further support community involvement. Personally, I am a multi-year recipient of the Capitol Federal Chairman Achievement Award. My community support includes:
- Capitol Federal United Way campaign committee
- State Advocate for Kansas League of Elders (2001-2005), assisting the elderly with bills, taxes and finances
