Online Mortgage Payments

Capitol Federal® offers the ability for customers to remit mortgage loan payments electronically from within CapFed® and from checking or savings accounts other than Capitol Federal.

True Blue Online® - If you are paying your mortgage from a Capitol Federal checking or savings account, you can schedule a transfer through True Blue Online®, or set up automatic recurring payments. Log in to True Blue Online® banking to make your payment today. This option is also available if you want to process a principal-only payment or an escrow payment.

To pay your Capitol Federal mortgage loan electronically from a checking or savings account at an institution other than Capitol Federal beginning August 7, 2023, you may also use True Blue Online®.

To utilize the True Blue Online transfer options beginning August 7, 2023:

  • Enroll in True Blue Online (if you haven’t already) from capfed.com.
  • Select the “Transfer” tab, and the external transfer option.
  • Add a new account with your account and routing number. Capitol Federal will send you two small deposits to validate your account.
  • You will receive an email instructing where to enter the amounts after they are received.
  • Review the “View Limits” tab. If your payment exceeds the daily limit ($2500) you can send a secured message in TBO requesting the amount be increased.
  • Delivery will be 3 business days if the payment is processed before 12 a.m. central time.

Example: Send Monday > Withdrawn Tuesday > Delivered Thursday

Currently the cutoff time for payments is 12:00 a.m. Central Time. If a payment is submitted on a business day prior to 12:00 a.m. Central Time, the payment will be received by Capitol Federal on the third following business day. Payments submitted after 12:00 a.m. Central Time on a business day, or on a day that is not a business day, will be received by Capitol Federal on the fourth following business day.

External Transfers allow you to establish the payment date and amount each month. This provides an opportunity to pay extra to principal when included with the regular payment amount.

Please know the payment date refers to the date the payment is initiated, not the date the payment is received by Capitol Federal.
