Capitol Federal's 119th Year of True Blue® Service

TOPEKA, Kan. – Capitol Federal Chairman John B. Dicus announced the promotion of Sarah Shute to First Vice President - Remote Services Manager. In her new role, Shute will conduct and supervise broad activities involved in research, development, implementation, promotion and handling of retail financial services, with a focus on electronic delivery of payments through third parties and/or at locations outside of Bank premises.
With a Criminal Justice degree from Washburn University and an MBA from Baker University, Shute has been with Capitol Federal since 1999, serving as a bank teller and later as a fraud investigator. Serving as Vice President - True Blue® Direct manager since 2008, Sarah is a recepient of the John C. Dicus Leadership Award.
Active in the community, Shute is a Crime Stoppers Board member, International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators member, Meals on Wheels volunteer, United Way Junior Leader Reader volunteer and Topeka Chamber Fast Forward member. She serves as a United Way Young Leaders Society member and is active within Capitol Federal's volunteer committee, serving as a past co-chair of the Capitol Federal Christmas Bureau.
