John B. Dicus, Chairman of Capitol Federal, announced the promotion of Rick C. Jackson to Executive Vice President – Chief Lending Officer.
Jackson joined Capitol Federal in 1993 as Assistant Vice President/Community Relations. Throughout his career, and most recently as First Vice President/Community Development Director, Jackson has worked with community groups, city and state officials and non-profit organizations to help determine housing and credit needs in the communities Capitol Federal serves. His work has opened doors for many new homeowners who otherwise may have had difficulty purchasing a home.

He also serves as a Capitol Federal Foundation Trustee. Recognized in the community for his efforts, Jackson was awarded the Clementine "Prim" Martin Community Action award in 2003 by the Living the Dream organization. Also in 2003, he was honored by Capitol Federal with the Bank’s highest recognition, the Henry A. Bubb Distinguished Service Award. This award, named in honor of Capitol Federal's longtime Chairman, is presented annually to one employee or officer who demonstrates the leadership qualities of the late Mr. Bubb.
"Rick embodies the integrity, leadership and strong commitment to community that have been a pillar of Capitol Federal throughout our history," remarked Chairman John B. Dicus. "His demonstration of Capitol Federal’s core values has always been evident and his focus and dedication to improving the communities we serve has earned him the utmost respect of all those who know him.
